Benefits and Opportunities
Pedernales Falls State Park has given me many various opportunities to learn and grow within my career. I have been able to attend the Intro to Interpretation region meeting as well as the Region Interpreter Meeting. At this meeting I was able to network with over 10 Park Interpreters, the Region Specialist, and the Director of Interpretation. Benefits that I had during my internship included free housing (they provided me a full hook up campsite, I just needed the trailer), $12.5 an hour pay and free entrance into other State Parks. |
